Istanbul City Museum has a creative design approach that uses the latest developments in “edutainment technology” in order to present the history of the city in the most engaging manner.

A forest of columns structures the space that contains more than 40 scenes and stories of the history of Istanbul and its people. Among the variety of exhibition formats used in this exhibition, there are certain elements and conceptual philosophies that unite the whole space, creating a strong feeling of harmony. The multimedia content will form an essential part of the visitor’s experience. Large size projections, large interactive multimedia surfaces, touch screens and 4D installations as well as tablets for the visitors that give a more personal experience.
